Ready, Set, Row!

Introduce your child to the sport of rowing, or give your rower or coxswain a chance to improve before the fall season begins. These camps are held at the boathouse in Hartford’s Riverside Park; register for our Glastonbury camps here.

Rowing for Beginners
Session 1: July 7 – 10, 9 am – 4 pm
Session 2: July 13 – 16, 9 am – 4 pm
Fee: $395 | includes lunch

This four-day camp introduces rowing to those with no previous experience. It’s a great way to get a head start if you’re planning to row in high school, or simply to try something new. We’ll get on the water and learn the rowing stroke, rowing terminology, and boat handling skills. Open to boys and girls ages 12-18 with no rowing experience.

Intermediate/Advanced Rowing
Session 1: July 7 – 10, 9 am – 4 pm
Session 2: July 13 – 16, 9 am – 4 pm
Fee: $395 for rowers, $250 for coxswains | includes lunch

Rowing is a sport that may be easy to learn but takes a lifetime to master. Continue to improve your technique during this four-day camp that will also show how to improve your 2k time, cross training and college admissions. Open to boys and girls ages 12-18 with rowing experience.
